What Brought Me to Rolfing

I went through the Rolfing® Ten Series in 2009 after I had severe headaches and a number of mis-diagnoses from doctors based on my vague symptoms of pain and stiffness.  Not quite halfway through the process it dawned on me that this is what my body had been needing.

I had spent over 4 years trying to manage my body's plea for relief and seeking doctors and other treatments that just lacked the holistic approach (mind, body and spirit).  Simply put:  the reason my back was hurting and giving me a variety of problems was not in my back, but in other parts of my body and their inhibited movement which was straining my back.  Since Rolfing addressed my body from back to front and top to bottom, it got to the source of my pain and difficulty moving and was a lasting source of relief.

I graduated from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado in March 2013 as a Certified Rolfer.

In 2005 I received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University, Mankato and am a currently Registered Dental Hygienist with the State of Minnesota.   I am maintaining my Dental Hygiene license because I continue my education annually and I work on a temporary basis with some wonderful offices.

I am currently Healthcare CPR certified. My interests include women's health, preventative wellness, psychological well-being and oral-facial conditions.   I am passionate about helping other healthcare professionals to improve their health so that they can continue to do the work that they love!
